Bottom Protect High Build Epoxy Primer (Blue Water Marine Paint)

– Provides a seamless high build Epoxy Coating. This seamless high build epoxy creates a impermeable water barrier and eliminates any direct path for water migration.
– Is a heavy duty 3:1 epoxy coating that prevents water absorption and blistering of your fiberglass hull.
– The fast over coating application allows the professional or do-it-yourselfer applicator to achieve 10 mils of protection in a single weekend.
– No harmful methylene chloride, and has superior sag control resistance.
– Also an excellent primer for all underwater metal hulls, keels, aluminum, steel, lead, cast iron, stainless and bronze.
– Average Dry Time 75 Degrees Fahrenheit, or 23 Degrees Celsius: Dries to touch in 2 hours. Faster dry times in temperatures over 75 Degrees Fahrenheit, and slower dry times in temperatures cooler than 75 Degrees Fahrenheit. Can Re-coat with Bottom Protect Primer with self in 2 hours to 48 hours. After 48 hours, you MUST sand with 80 grit sandpaper before recoating with another coat of Bottom Protect Primer. When over coating with antifouling, allow 2 hours minimum to 4 hours, maximum. Faster dry times in temperatures over 75 Degrees F, and slower dry times n temperatures cooler than 75 Degrees F. After 4 hours you MUST sand with 80 grit sandpaper before application of antifouling paint, or apply another coat of Bottom Protect Primer and overcoat with the appropriate antif9ouling paint within the 2-4 hour over coat window.
