We want you to be happy with your purchase! In the event you would like to return a product back to us, you may return most unused items for a refund or exchange, minus shipping, within 30 days from the date of purchase unless noted in the exclusions below. The goods must be returned uninstalled, in new condition, and in the original packaging. Return / exchange requests received more than 30 days after delivery will not be accepted. The cost of return shipments will be charged to you on all returned goods other than when: (1) the wrong goods are shipped to you (see terms below) (2) goods are received in damaged condition (see terms below), or (3) the goods are subject to a warranty claim.
For items ordered online and shipped directly to you a RPN# is required for all returns, any item returned without an RPN# will not be considered for return or credit.
For all items ordered online and picked up, or purchased directly at any of our stores, a RPN is not required but still falls under the return policy outlined below.
Items Ordered in Error:

Unless noted below, Marine Trading Post will accept items ordered in error that are being returned in their original, unopened package, and in new condition within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Customer is responsible for pre-paying all return freight charges, items returned freight collect will be rejected and returned to sender. Marine Trading Post cannot accept returns after 30 days from date of purchase.
Any item returned in less than new condition or without all packaging and components will be subject to a processing fee, to be determined after the item has been inspected.

Restocking Fee’s
Our Universal Return Policy has a restocking fee which can range from 10-25% at our discretion.
Propellers
The propeller return policy is designed to ensure that any propeller returned can be sold again as new. All propellers must be in new re-sellable condition and returned for inspection before credit is issued. Propellers may be returned within 30 days if they meet the inspection qualifications listed below.
Items Damaged in Shipment:
Marine Trading Post makes every attempt to pack and ship every order to prevent items from getting damaged in transit. Every order leaves our facility in its original packaging and in new condition. We cannot be responsible for damage that occurs once it leaves our facility. In the event that your item(s) is/are damaged in shipment, please notify us as soon as possible, but in no event later than 3 business days so we can assist you in making a claim to the freight carrier.
Items Shipped Incorrectly:
Marine Trading Post makes every attempt to ship every order with 100% accuracy, but we are human and could make a mistake. In the event that you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately, but not later than 10 business days after receiving the item at [email protected] or by phone at 1-239-997-5777 and we’ll get you the right item, or issue a refund, whichever you prefer.
Defective Items within 30 Days of Purchase:
Items that have a manufacturers defect and were purchased within 30 days will be replaced or refunded, whichever you prefer.
Defective Items after 30 Days:
All items sold by Marine Trading Post carry a manufacturers warranty. In the event that an item purchased from Marine Trading Post becomes defective more than 30 days after purchase, we will be glad to assist you with making a warranty claim to the manufacturer. Please do not return the item to Marine Trading Post until after you have contacted us at [email protected] or by phone at 1-239-997-5777, as each manufacturer has their own policies and procedures for handling warranty claims.
Refunds:
All refunds for returns with a receipt and within 30 days of purchase will be made to the original form of payment, if the original form of payment was cash, a company check will be mailed to the address provided by the customer within 10 days of the return being approved, if the customer desires an immediate refund, a store credit can be issued immediately upon approval.
or all returns between 31 – 90 days from date of purchase, refund will be issued in the form of a Marine Trading Post store credit. Marine Trading Post cannot accept returns after 90 days from date of purchase. Marine Trading Post reserves the right to assess a restocking fee of up to 35% for any new item still in its original package, that is returned without a receipt.

Marine Trading Post reserves the right to refuse service to any person or persons that we believe are abusing any Marine Trading Post policy or employee, including but not limited to:
